Dis-moi wie ik ben is a refreshing self-portrait by ‘second-generation’ youngsters. Aïcha Cissé and Aminata Demba veer between languages and cultures. Between the place their parents are from and the place they grow up. Between stereotypes and authenticity, they develop their own multi-layered and fluid identity.

With disarming humour and lots of joy, they switch between the contexts and codes that shape their daily lives. An infectious performance for everyone from 12 years old.

On Monday 28 January you can attend a French-language school performance of Dis-moi wie ik ben at KVS, followed by a discussion with the actresses.
