A pared-down St Matthew Passion for one accordion and one voice, by Sara Salverius and Valentijn Dhaenens.

Every day, commuters navigate their way through addicts and outcasts around the Brussels North station. In Gaza, dead children are pulled from beneath the rubble by dazed family members. In Ukraine, an elderly couple flees the ruins of their city, all that’s left of their belongings in a plastic bag. What if the evangelist Matthew walked among them today, as a chronicler of our time?
