Ehsan Hemat is an Iranian, Brussels-based dancer and choreographer. I put a spell on you marks his first creation, which promptly won the Best Choreography Award at the 37th International Fadjr Festival in Tehran. It is a performance with three dancers and a drone.

A fascinating reflection about externally imposed inhibitions, and about the position of the individual in relation to an absolutist authority. Three people are locked into a space where they cannot escape the view of the all-seeing eye. Their fragile bodies have lost all notions of privacy.
