De wereld redden

Brothers Pieter and Johannes Genard take the stage together for the first time. Both are professional performers: one an actor, the other a musician. Together with actress Martha Canga Antonio they create De wereld redden, a concert and theatrical poem.

They have a shared history and a story that binds them: an older brother, long presumed dead – until he reappears. Or does he? The search for an explanation leads them through a tangle of truth and fabrication.

A story of major ambitions and futile doubts, about the necessity of art, about the insane logic of MC Escher, about Brussels and about a sort of suicide.
