Impossible love: a tale as old as time, told by so many … Rosalba Torres Guerrero and Koen Augustijnengot their mustard for this new dance creation from, amongst others, Claudio Monteverdi’s music and two emblematic, doomed fictional couples: Orfeo & Eurydice and Il Combattimento di Tancredi & Clorinda. Both love stories bring up countless questions, that the dance company processes emotionally in Amours aveugles. How can we be so blinded by love that we resort to irrevocable deeds? Rosalba Torres Guerrero and Elie Tass dance to music by accordionists Philippe Thuriot and Gwen Cresens, soprano Liesbeth Devos and tenor Ed Lyon.
