Medusa

RITCS

996, 997, 998- It’s so cold here.
I live in a land where the sun never shines.
With money and lovers to spare but
I’m bored.
I pray to the gods for deliverance
that’s all I do: pray
and comb my hair.
-999, 1000.

For their master’s project, the actors of the drama degree at RITCS collaborate with Abbatoir Fermé and Stef Lernous. It’s a production they happily present at KVS BOL as well. The ambition, but most of all the anticipation, runs high!

Medusa is the most famous of the three Gorgons. Poseidon raped the beautiful Medusa in the temple of Athena; the furious goddess took revenge by changing Medusa’s gorgeous hair into a nest of writhing snakes. Whomever would look Medusa in the face, would be turned to stone.
